BEAVERCREEK — The Lofino’s Market pharmacy has shut down, and its prescriptions have been transferred to a nearby CVS pharmacy, according to signs posted at the grocery store in the Beaver Valley Shopping Center at U.S. 35 and North Fairfield Road.
A store manager confirmed the closing but referred other questions to Darryl McGill, human resources director for Lofino’s Food Stores. Messages left for McGill this morning were not immediately returned.
Lofino’s pharmacy prescriptions have been transferred to the CVS Beavercreek pharmacy on North Fairfield Road at Dayton-Xenia Ave., according to the customer notices displayed at the store.
The Beaver Valley Shopping Center, built in the early 1970s, houses the Lofino’s grocery store, a Beef O’Brady’s restaurant, a Petco pet-supplies store, and several other smaller retailers. Its Beaver Valley Cinemas and an adjacent car dealership, a former Eastgate Ford, have been vacant for many years.
